Possession of drug paraphernalia: A 19-year-old Alliance man was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and not driving within marked lines Sept. 30 at 12:17 a.m. on Route 14. Police said they stopped the man's vehicle because it did not stay inside the white lines on the road and found a suspected glass drug pipe in the vehicle. The man failed field sobriety tests.
Charged with OVI: A 30-year-old Cleveland man was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, possession of drugs and operating of a vehicle without reasonable control Oct. 2 at 11:08 p.m. on Route 14. Police said they responded to a report by an anonymous caller of a possible intoxicated driver. Police said they found the man near Route 14 and Market Square Drive, and said signs of drug use were detected. Police said they found prescription pills in the man's possession.
Wallet missing: A Ravenna woman reported Oct. 3 at 3:19 p.m. her wallet was missing at a Singletary Drive business. After a police officer responded, the woman said she was unsure if the wallet was taken and when. She reported she had it when she left her house and noticed it was missing while at the store. Police are investigating.
GPS unit stolen: A Timber Ridge Trail resident reported Oct. 1 at 7:06 a.m. that someone stole a $200 GPS unit and $5 in coins from her unlocked car overnight Sept. 30. Police are investigating.
Shoplifter: An 18-year-old Streetsboro woman was charged with theft after police said she tried to steal a $28 cellphone cover from a Singletary Drive business Oct. 1 at 5:47 p.m. The alleged shoplifter was observed and detained by store security personnel, according to police.
Broken window: A Valley Brook Road resident reported Oct. 1 at 8:26 a.m. that someone stole two necklaces worth a total of $600, a $150 GPS unit and $11 in cash from her vehicle overnight Sept. 30 after entering it through a broken window. Police are investigating.
