Possession of drugs: A 20-year-old Chelsea, N.Y., man was charged with possession of drugs and driving under suspension Dec. 28 at 11:31 p.m. on Route 43. Police said they stopped the vehicle after it passed another vehicle in a right-turn lane. A bag of suspected marijuana was found inside the vehicle on the passenger-side floor, according to police, who said the man was also driving under suspension.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: A 29-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both from Hiawatha, Iowa, were charged with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia Dec. 30 at 11:42 p.m. at a Route 14 hotel. Police were contacted after marijuana was smelled in a room at the hotel. Police spoke with the couple and said they found 25.7 grams of suspected marijuana plus a glass smoking device.

Glass drug pipes found: A 31-year-old Streetsboro man was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without reasonable control Dec. 31 at 11:27 p.m. on Route 303. After responding to the scene of a traffic crash, police said they found suspected marijuana and two glass drug pipes in the man's vehicle. The report did not indicate how much marijuana was found. No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were reported involved in the crash.

Possible thief exits from wrong door: A balding white male in his 50s was spotted leaving a Route 14 business through a non-authorized door Dec. 27 at 6:15 p.m., according to police. It was not known if he had any merchandise with him. Police said the same man was seen leaving through the same door Dec. 19 at 12:33 p.m. while holding an unknown item that he did not pay for. Police are investigating.

Money missing: A Stow woman reported $70 was taken from her wallet that she reported losing in a Singletary Drive store Dec. 27 at 11:38 p.m. Store personnel reported finding the wallet in the store but the money was missing, according to police. The wallet was returned to the woman.

Microwave taken: A 64-year-old Cleveland man was charged with theft after police said he tried to steal a microwave and comforters Dec. 29 at 1:21 p.m. from a Singletary Drive store. Police said the man bought items and put them in his vehicle, then returned to the business, picked out the same items and left the store without paying for them. The total value of the items was $198.
