Charged with OVI: A 26-year-old Southington woman was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol Feb. 5 at 11:56 p.m. on Diagonal Road. Police said they pulled over the car because it was speeding. Police said they smelled alcohol on the woman, and said she failed field sobriety tests. The report did not list how fast the vehicle was traveling or the blood-alcohol count.

Under the influence: A 43-year-old Streetsboro man was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol Feb. 4 at 5:06 p.m. on Frost Road. Police said they stopped the vehicle because of an expired license plate. Police said they smelled alcohol on the man, who failed field sobriety tests. Police said the man's blood-alcohol count was .303, over the legal limit of .08.

Arrested: A 53-year-old Matthews, N.C., man was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol Feb. 7 at 1:12 a.m. on Route 43. Police were summoned by an anonymous caller to the parked vehicle, where police said the man was unconscious and had passed out. Police said they smelled alcohol on the man, who failed field sobriety tests. Police said the man failed to submit to a blood-alcohol test.

Multiple lane violations: A 58-year-old Streetsboro woman was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol Feb. 7 at 1:11 a.m. on Interstate 480. Police received a report from an anonymous caller of a possible intoxicated driver. Police spotted the vehicle and said it made multiple lane changes, for which the woman was also charged. Police spoke with the woman and smelled alcohol on her. She failed field sobriety tests, according to police, and had a blood-alcohol count of .156, over the legal limit of .08.

Traffic stop: A 28-year-old Hudson woman was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol Feb. 8 at 2:57 a.m. on Ravenna Road. Police said following a traffic stop for not driving within marked lanes, they smelled alcohol on the woman, who failed field sobriety tests. Police said the woman's blood-alcohol count was .189.

Fraud

Fraudulent bank account: A Streetsboro man reported Feb. 6 at 9:45 a.m. that his business wired money to a fraudulent bank account to make a purchase from a business. Police are investigating. The report did not indicate how much money was wired or where it was sent.
