Obstructing police business

Giving false information: A man was arrested after police said he gave them a false name and date of birth to avoid being identified as a person with an active arrest warrant and suspended license, for which he was charged. Police stopped the man's vehicle June 19 at 2:14 a.m. on Route 14 after they alleged the man failed to stop at a red traffic light, then made a left turn, almost hitting another vehicle. The man was charged with falsification, not obeying traffic devices and possession of a controlled substance after police said they found suspected marijuana inside the vehicle. The man was handed over to Twinsburg police, who had an undisclosed arrest warrant for the man.
