Possession of drugs: A 26-year-old Solon man was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol Aug. 10 at 12:49 a.m. on Route 14. Police said they pulled over the man's vehicle for not driving within marked lanes, for which he was also charged. The man failed field sobriety tests, police said. About 1 gram of suspected marijuana was found in the vehicle, according to police, and the man also was charged with possession of drugs.
Drug paraphernalia found: A 32-year-old Streetsboro woman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Aug. 10 at 10:12 a.m. on Route 43. Police said they stopped the woman's vehicle following a random check of her vehicle registration, after which she was charged with driving under suspension. A glass smoking device was found in the vehicle, police said, and suspected marijuana residue was found in the center console.
Electrical wire missing: About $700 worth of electrical wire was reported missing Aug. 7 at 6:40 p.m. from a Crane Center Drive business. An employee reported someone took about 20 spools of electrical wire in the past month. Police said they located some of the missing spools at a local scrap yard.
Debit card charges: A Streetsboro man reported Aug. 12 at 10:49 a.m. that someone fraudulently made $197 worth of charges to his debit card at a movie theater chain around the country. The man's bank said all the money would be returned to his account.
Graffiti on mailbox: Graffiti was reported on a mailbox and a property management sign at a Route 303 business Aug. 12 at 11:32 a.m. Damage was reported at $50. An employee reported numerous youngsters have been cutting through the parking lot. Police are investigating.
