Pierce-Streetsboro Library will have three different craft kits to take home in December. 

Starting the week of Dec. 3, the first kit will be a North Pole sign pointing the way to places and activities where Santa lives. The week of Dec. 10, the second kit to make a gingerbread boy and girl wreath will be available. The third kit, a paper bag Santa puppet, can be obtained starting the week of Dec. 17. These kits are intended for ages 4 and up. Stop in to get your kit anytime the library is open each week.

Book discussion to focus on members’ favorites

The Pierce-Streetsboro Library’s book discussion club will meet on Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. in the library’s meeting room. This month the group members will discuss their own personal favorite books. Light refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of Pierce-Streetsboro Library.

Holiday gift basket contest at library

The Pierce-Streetsboro Library will have a holiday gift basket contest through Dec. 14. 

Check out at least three items to enter a slip to win the basket containing holiday-themed fiction books and ornaments. One winner will be called when the contest ends. Prizes are provided by the volunteer group, the Friends of Pierce Streetsboro Library.
