ZipCity USA located on Route 43, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 20.
"It's the only trampoline and zip line club on earth," said Scott Weiner, owner of ZipCity. The facility is 17,600 square feet and will feature five zip lines and trampoline areas. They will employ 48 part time employees.
The five zip lines, each nearly 220 feet long and three stories high, feature state-of-the-art braking systems, and Weiner said he believes he can get 200 people an hour through the zip lines.
The trampoline park spans almost 10,000 square feet and includes two open jump courts, two basketball courts, a dodge ball court and a trampoline foam pit. In addition, Zip City has a dedicated tots' area for children under age 6. In the dodge ball court, 20 players can battle each other, using safe, soft, foam dodge balls.
If there are lines for the trampolines or zip lines, Weiner said customers can amuse themselves in an arcade.
