HoneyBaked Ham & Café Owner Steve Schwartz has rescheduled the groundbreaking ceremony for a new plaza on Route 14 for May 15.
The groundbreaking had been set for May 8.
The new plaza, designed as a three-unit, 10,100-square-foot building, will be located just west of the former Eat 'N Park restaurant on Route 14, which is slated to become The Happy Moose later this year.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be at 4 p.m. at the construction site. Following the formal ceremony, Schwartz has invited attendees to his HoneyBaked Ham & Café location at the corner of Route 43 and Market Square Drive in Liberty Corners Plaza for light appetizers.
Schwartz said the cost of the building and land would total about $2 million. He said he felt he needed a more visible location than the Liberty Corners Plaza site.
