Anti-abortion activities abound

During the next couple weeks, several events will take place focusing on the need to end abortion.

On Jan. 19, the annual Diocesan Mass of Life takes place at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. Expectant mothers, fathers and families in attendance will be invited to receive blessings for their unborn children. Following Mass will be a pasta luncheon. The public is invited and no reservations are necessary.

Then, on Jan. 22, there is a day of prayer for the legal protection of unborn children for Catholics across the nation. Help is available that day for those who need it following an abortion by calling 800-593-2273.
