The Streetsboro Knights of Columbus are hosting Lenten dinners each Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. through the end of Lent, March 29, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 8894 Route 14 in Streetsboro.
The buffet dinner will feature battered scrod, potato crusted scrod, pierogies, breaded fantail shrimp and a choice of eight side dishes and fresh-baked bread and butter.
Cost is $8.50 per person, and a children's menu is available.
Proceeds from the dinners benefit the Knights of Columbus and St. Joan of Arc Parish.

The parish will host an "After Dinner Café" at 6 p.m. March 9 at the Parish's Fr. Stenson Center, located behind the church which is located at 8894 Route 14. The event will feature a movie, card games and lots of fun. Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer to share.

St. Joan of Arc Parish is offering parishioners the chance to create a living tribute to a loved one this Easter season by ordering an Easter flower, which will be placed in sanctuary during Easter season. The donation for each memorial is $15.
The second annual Youngstown Diocese Men's Fellowship Conference will take place at Walsh University in North Canton March 9.
The themes this year are "Rise up O Men of God" and "Open the Door to Faith." This conference is open to men 13 years and over. The keynote speaker is Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, and the celebrant will be The Most Rev. George Murry S.J. Last year, there were more than 300 men from the Youngstown Diocese in attendance. Doors open at 8 a.m.; Mass will be at 4 p.m.
Pre-registration is $30 before March 1 and $35 after March 1. Registration at the door is $45.

A adult education series on the Acts of the Apostles will take place over three weeks. Classes will take place March 7, 14 and 21 at 7 p.m. in the Fr. Stenson Center with the Rev. Fr. Pat Ferraro leading.
As a community outreach effort, St. Joan of Arc Parish is recruiting volunteers to help out at Hospice of the Western Reserve who would provide care and support for patients and their families by running errands, reading stories, playing games, writing letters, making phone calls, spending time with patients, baking cookies and preparing meals, providing legal guidance, helping with clerical work and cutting and styling hair. A volunteer education course will take place at Hospice of the Western Reserve, 150 Springside Drive, Suite A-100, Fairlawn. Classes are March 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and March 9 and 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
