Cinematheology's first discussion begins at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 10 at The Chapel at Tinkers Creek, located at 9709 Page Road.
A screening of "Saving Mr. Banks," the subject of the Sunday discussion, will take place at 7 p.m. Aug. 9 at the church.
On Aug. 10, participants will meet to discuss what movie had to say about God, humanity and living.
This is the first in a series of four Cinematheology discussions, which take place each of the next four Sundays at 10:30 a.m. A different movie will be discussed at each meeting:
Aug. 10, "Saving Mr. Banks;"
Aug. 17, "The Lego Movie;"
Aug. 24, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty;" and
Aug. 31, "The Hobbit."
