Streetsboro Board of Education member Denise Baba has been named to the board of trustees of the Ohio School Boards Association and three other OSBA committees.
The board of trustees is the main governing board of the OSBA, composed of the eight-member executive committee, representatives from the state's six largest school districts and 18 representatives selected by the OSBA's five regional associations.
Baba also was named to the Capital Conference Planning Task Force, which helps arrange the OSBA's Capital Conference and Trade Show, which takes place annually in November in Columbus; the Federal Relations Network, which is the National School Board Association's major lobbying force on federal issues; and the Northeast Regional Executive Committee.
Streetsboro Board of Education member John P. Kelly was named to the OSBA's Arrangements and Hospitality Team.
Committee appointments were finalized by the OSBA Board of Trustees.
