'Red and White' benefit returns to Akron

More than 700 guests are expected to enjoy food from more than 20 area restaurants and 70 global wineries at the 16th Annual Red & White on Thursday Night to benefit the Arthritis Foundation, Great Lakes Region, Northeastern Ohio.

The benefit will take place from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Jan. 31 at Quaker Station, at the Quaker Square Inn in Akron.

The event will raise essential funds to support local programs and services for people of all ages with arthritis. The event includes silent auction items, a wine bottle raffle, a Las Vegas dice roll game and the "Key to a Cure" live auction.

Tickets are $85 in advance or $95 at the door. VIP tickets, which include general admission and high-end wine tasting from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m., are $125. Corporate sponsorships are still available.
