David Bovenizer of Selas Heat and Technology Co. will speak to the Streetsboro Area Chamber of Commerce April 10 during a luncheon.
Taking place at The Fairways at Twin Lakes, 1519 Overlook Drive in Kent, the event begins at 11:30 a.m. with registration and networking, then lunch is served promptly at noon.
Bovenizer is the founder and chief executive officer of Lionheart Ventures, the acquisition company which owns Selas Heat Technology Company, LLCnwhich recently moved into a facility in Streetsboro. Throughout his career in manufacturing and banking, he has completed more than 20 transactions totaling $2 billion in value, including leveraged acquisitions, cross-border, mergers and acquisitions, numerous debt financings, public debt offerings, joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures.
His extensive leadership experience will be highlighted, including his professional beliefs and knowledge of maximizing profitability, productivity and expansion opportunities, which he helped deliver to all of his portfolio companies.
For members who register by April 5, the cost is $15 per person; for non-members, the cost is $20. After April 5, there is a $5 late registration fee.

Senior Appreciation Luncheon set for May 8
The Streetsboro Area Chamber of Commerce will welcome the top of Streetsboro High School's Class of 2013 to a luncheon May 8, beginning at 11:30 a.m. with registration. Lunch is served at noon. The annual luncheon takes place to honor high school seniors who have distinguished themselves by maintaining a 3.5 grade-point average or higher throughout their high school careers.
