Streetsboro High School principal to take Colorado job

Published:

Streetsboro High School Principal Eric Rauschkolb plans to take a position as principal at Niwot High School in Niwot, Colo. next year.

"I've always harbored a desire to get to Colorado at some point in my career," said Rauschkolb, who's headed Streetsboro High School since the 2010-11 school year. He said he has family in Colorado and has always enjoyed visiting on skiing vacations.

Rauschkolb said he's earning about $91,000 as high school principal this year.

Superintendent Michael Daulbaugh said a search for a new principal is under way, and the district has received more than 22 applications.

The School Board has not yet voted whether to accept Rauschkolb's resignation, but likely will vote on the matter May 8. Daulbaugh said Rauschkolb is at the end of a 2-year contract.

  • The man needs to go.  His leadership has been less than desirable and his ability to maintain an high rating with education has been a problem.

This is not a man with high convictions on protecting our children.

Now we need to terminate the vice principal for his lack of abilities and to understand the makeup of the student body.

If you have read any of the posts I made in the past on these two, you will understand what I am talking about.
