A mid-year move into a new high school and heavily renovated Campus Elementary School is in the works, according to Streetsboro City Schools Superintendent Michael Daulbaugh.
“Specific plans for a mid-year move have not been worked out yet,” he stated in a June 26 email to the Streetsboro Gateway News. “After the project is underway and we have a better idea regarding a finalized move-in date, plans will be developed.”
The projected completion date of a new high school and addition to Campus Elementary School is December 2016. The construction timeline was announced earlier this month.
Daulbaugh said the move would be done in phases “over a two- to three-month period.”
The move also would be organized so there would be “minimal items to move when we take occupancy,” he added.
The students at Wait Primary School would move into Campus, joining the second- and third-graders in a single building. The new high school will house grades 9-12.
