Streetsboro Family Days was marred this year by weather.
Chuck Kocisko, founder of the four-day festival, said it rained off and on all day July 26 and 27, which are usually high-attendance at the event.
"If we pay all our bills and break even, I'll be happy with that kind of rain," he said.
Although the organization is still working to determine final revenue and attendance numbers, Kocisko said he thinks attendance may have been around 7,000 to 8,000 for the weekend.
"Thursday was slow, and it's traditionally slow," he said. "That was one of the days it didn't rain."
One highlight of the festival this year was a $15,000 check presentation from Streetsboro Family Days to Sonny Geraci, a performer who has performed at Streetsboro Family Days many years before an aneurysm a couple years ago left him wheelchair bound. Geraci has faced high medical bills over the past two years.
Kocisko said there were no incidents that required police assistance.
He thanked the volunteers who help the event work each year for their service and thanked those who attended for being patient with the weather.
There was a good crowd for Marty Stuart July 26, despite the rain, he said.
