Prior to a community meeting on school facilities Aug. 4, City Council and the School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. in a joint session at City Hall, 9184 Route 43.
The purpose of the joint meeting will be for Council to get an update on the school facilities project and discuss issues "of joint interest" to the city and School Board.
A community meeting has been set for 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at Henry Defer Intermediate School, during which community members will be able comment and pose questions on the school district's school facilities project.
"At this meeting, our architectural team, along with our construction manager will outline progress on the project to date and give community members the opportunity to ask questions," said Superintendent Michael Daulbaugh in a July 28 email.
