Streetsboro High School is hosting its third annual Academic Showcase on March 12, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the gym and cafeteria.
Each academic department will have a display, and faculty and administrators will be on hand.
No appointment is necessary to have a conference with any of the school's teachers. The whole community -- not just members with high school children -- is invited.
Many special events and presentations are planned for the evening, including opportunities to preview the school play; tour the school's radio station and television facility; learn about class offerings and how block scheduling works; learn about Advanced Placement classes; and participate in a current events quiz.
A special presentation at 7 p.m. in the lecture hall will allow next year's incoming freshmen to meet the ninth-grade teachers and hear about the classes they will take in the fall.
