Kent State University

Kent State University recently announced those who graduated in December. Streetsboro residents who earned their cap and gown include:

* Ying Ren, bachelor of business administration degree, cum laude

* Anthony J. Puleo, bachelor of science degree from college of technology, cum laude

* Ann M. Carignan, bachelor of science in education degree, cum laude

* Erica I. Gotschall, bachelor of science in education degree, magna cum laude

* Janice R. Maxey, bachelor of science in nursing degree, summa cum laude

* Austin M. Clay, bachelor of business administration degree

* Amanda C. Fittipaldo, bachelor of business administration degree

* Russell A. Wagner, bachelor of business administration degree

* Adrianne l. Cology, bachelor of science degree

* Mark T. Kralik, bachelor of science degree

* Uday Gutti, master of business administration degree

* Amanda E. Blue, master of education degree

* Katherine E. Hettinger, master of education degree

* Jennifer M. Valencic, master of education degree

* David P. Makar, master of science in accounting

Bowling Green State University

Six students from Streetsboro have been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Bowling Green State University by achieving a grade-point average of 3.5 or better with at least 12 graded credits during the semester.

Rebecca Anne Bir is the daughter of Katherine Hall. The senior is studying in the College of Education and Human Development.

Colleen B. Fitzgibbons is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is the daughter of Dan Fitzgibbons and Laurie Kern.

Kristin L. Konopka, the daughter of James Konopka, is a sophomore in the College of Education and Human Development.

Thomas Lewis is the father of Shane P. Lewis, who is a senior studying in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Ashley Ann Schantz, a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, is the daughter of Thomas Schantz.

Chelcie E. Vadaj is a freshman in the College of Health and Human Services. Her parents are George and Stacey Vadaj.

College of Wooster

Amy Sondles of Streetsboro, a graduate of Western Reserve Academy, earned dean's list honors at the College of Wooster for the fall semester.

Included are students who earn a grade-point average of 3.5 and above.
