U.S. Navy veteran Richard Loucks, 40, of Streetsboro, formerly of Bedford, died March 1, 2008 at his home. Born July 31, 1967 in Watertown, N.Y. to Fredric and Gloria (Cornell) Loucks, Mr. Loucks was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Gulf War and a truck driver for AKE Laboratories. Survivors include his parents Fred and Gloria Loucks of Windham; fiancé Betsy Sunday of Streetsboro; stepdaughters Jamie Ryan and Meghan Hammes; granddaughter Peyton; sisters Crystal (Jim) Ward of Windham and Dawn (Tim) Diliberto of Port Clinton; brother Sean (Tiffany) Loucks of Brimfield; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services took place at Shorts Funeral Home's Streetsboro Chapel March 6 with the Rev. Byron L. George officiating. Interment followed in Windham Cemetery in Windham. Comments
