Streetsboro -- An employee of a Philipp Parkway business reported parts worth $650 were stolen off his vehicle in the parking lot during the afternoon. According to the police report, the vehicle's taillights and an after-market exhaust pipe had been removed. The business said it would review the surveillance video from the parking lot. The incident is under investigation, according to the report. Operating a vehicle while the influence March 7. Driver charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, prohibitions: A patrol officer pulled over a vehicle on Route 14 for marked lane violations and noticed the driver and three passengers showed signs of intoxication. According to the report, the driver failed a field sobriety test and was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. All four in the vehicle were charged with prohibitions violations. Police said the driver and passengers were released at the police station to a friend. Disorderly conduct March 8. Man charged with disorderly conduct at restaurant: Officers responded to a Route 14 restaurant to reports of a customer harassing employees. According to the police report, the customer had been using profanity and allegedly making threats against employees after receiving a wrong order. Police said the customer, who showed signs of intoxication, received a refund but continued to yell at employees. The customer was charged with disorderly conduct from public intoxication, but he did not have identification and refused to sign the citation, according to the report. Police said the customer was taken to the Portage County Jail. Suspended license March 10. Motorist charged with driving under suspension: An officer driving down Route 14 witnessed a vehicle "recklessly" pull out of a Route 14 plaza with an open, unlatched trunk filled with shovels that obscured the license plate. According to the report, the officer pulled the driver over and learned that he had a suspended driver's license and an active warrant through the Ravenna Police Department. Police said the driver was charged with driving under suspension and was turned over to a Ravenna police officer at the city border for the warrant. Criminal damage March 11. Vehicle's tires slashed: A Russell Drive resident reported all four of her tires were slashed in her driveway during the evening. According to the report, the resident said the tires were not slashed when she got home from work the previous evening. She told police she did not hear anything, despite her bedroom window being open all night. Police said there are no suspects at this time.
