I think the mayors decision to take away the city towing from Streetsboro Auto & Truck is unfair and unjust just because a person complains.
I wonder if this Zeigler fella has ever had his car towed by this company and didn't like it?
This company has been towing cars in this town for a long long time.
Some people like to drink and drive and then do not like to pay the price for their stupidity.
This is for the mayor
We the people of Streetsboro DO NOT like it when you take away business from local people and give it to businesses outside our fair city.
What else will you give away?
I can see you as a 1 term mayor.
The former mayor would have worked out a politically correct answer to this problem to keep the business in the city.
This company has went out of its way for this community and the city.
They towed city vehicles for years at no cost as a courtesy.
His mechanics spent many hours fixing problems created by city employees who were trying to do a job they were not properly trained for at no cost to the city.
As far as the illegal impound lot, this man was running a lot in this city before almost all of this big city was built and before there was ever any laws pertaining to impound lots.
As for all the cars in that lot the mayor should have looked to the source responsible for that which are under his watch as mayor.
So go ahead mayor take away business from our individuals who not only work here but live here as well.
Hmm i wonder if our mayor lives here(probably not)
I hope it is not another case of people who dont live in the boro coming here and telling those of us who do how to live that sucks.
Onions to the new Mayor Wagner.
Come back when you can not stay so long please

I can understand the whole idea of using local businesses but if you had investgated your facts a little better you might feel a little different. While yes Streetsboro Auto has done a lot for the city, they also did a lot of things that made doing business with them very difficult. For example, there were numerous complaints of items being stolen from the vehicles being towed, several problems with poor record keeping and missing paperwork, and twice in the last month prior to the termination of the services they damaged 2 police crusiers 1 due to poor driving and 1 due to faulty equipment, the last of which occured while passengers were in the patrol vehicle. These problems expose the city to certian liabilities, especially if they no that they exsist. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT a fan of this mayor, but in this case he made the right decision. The owner of Streetsboro Auto is a good man, and he has done a lot for the city but in the last several years the quality of service has gone down, and his equipment and hiring practices are questionable at best! Its a tuff business to be in and to be prifitable at.
