Wait Primary School students and staff are conducting a food drive competition May 5-9 to collect non-perishable food items, which will be distributed through the Streetsboro Christian Cupboard, to friends and neighbors in the Streetsboro community who require help to meet their food needs.
Angela Novotny has organized this food drive, with the cooperation of the Streetsboro Fire Department.
The Streetsboro Fire Department is helping Wait students meet their goals by making available a drop-off area at the fire station on Route 43 for anyone who would like to help the students collect the food donations.
The Streetsboro Fire Department is also hosting the winning class's ice cream party, complete with a fire truck.
