"The sprinters continue to impress me," said Streetsboro head coach Tom Fesemyer. "The sprint relay teams of Bivins, Kelsey Cianci, Amanda Cobourn, Kaitlin Twigger and Dare Gleason improve every time they run the relay events. Tiffany Yanulaitis is running better than I have ever seen her run in the 400.

"One of the most impressive wins of the day was freshman Amanda Cobourn jumping 4-8," he added. "As a freshman jumping that height, that signals to me that she is learning and using the necessary techniques to compete in the high jump. Volunteer coach Gabe Swarts has really done a nice job with all of our high jumpers this season."

Fesemyer also had high praise for his throwers.

"In the field events, Kayla Brown continued her success in the shot put along with discus thrower Kellie Radic," he said. "It's nice to see these two ladies improving every meet. That truly is a credit to their hard work and dedication to the sport."

Streetsboro was set to visit Ravenna to compete against County foes Garfield and Atwater Waterloo April 29. Results were not available at press time.

The Rockets are scheduled to compete at the Mogadore Relays May 2 at 3:45 p.m. before returning to Ravenna to face County rival Rootstown May 6 at 4 p.m.
