Chamber golf outing set for July 11, a Friday

The Streetsboro Area Chamber of Commerce's 10th Annual Golf Outing has been set for July 11.

The event, which will take place at Raccoon Hill Golf Course, is set for a Friday this year, a change from the past several years when it's taken place on Mondays.

The $85 cost per golfer includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, drinks, dinner, and the chance to take home prizes. Non-golfers who want to support the event may donate a prize, sponsor a hole, or volunteer on the day of the event.

Registration forms will be sent to chamber members soon.

The chamber also needs help planning the outing. The golf outing committee meets once a month each month leading up to the event, then weekly the month preceding the event.
