The Streetsboro boys track and field team placed third with 79 points at the 10-team Clipper Invitational May 10 at Columbiana High School.

On May 6, Streetsboro won all four relays en route to a 64.5-63.5 victory over Portage Trail Conference County Division rival Rootstown at Ravenna Stadium.

Schwing won four events to lead the Rockets. He won the long jump (18-2.5), the 100 (11.1), the 200 (23.5) and the 400 (55.2).
