Jennifer Consolo, daughter of Susan and Dominic Consolo of Streetsboro, has married Jonathan Garwood, son of Dr. Richard and Kathy Garwood of Hudson.
The wedding took place in July at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora, with the Rev. Fr. Joe Witmer officiating.
The bride, dressed in a Jim Hjelm strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, a d'esprit over maize overlay with Swiss dots and a sweep train, was escorted by her father.
She carried a bouquet of hot pink roses, cream roses, and green pom-poms, arranged by Baumann's Florist in Stow.
The bride was attended by maid of honor Jamie Consolo, sister of the bride of San Diego; bridesmaids Angela Maxwell, friend of the bride from Newbury; Julie Amantea, friend, of Chesterland; and Cassie Gibbs, cousin of the bride of Rittman.
The bridegroom was attended by best man Chris Garwood, brother, of Hudson; groomsman Greg Garwood, brother, of Hudson; Matt Garwood, brother, of Hudson; and Jimmy Piesto, friend, of Hudson.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception took place at the Sheraton Suites Hotel in Cuyahoga Falls where guests enjoyed a champagne brunch.
The couple honeymooned in Key Biscayne, Fla.
The bride and bridegroom are both 1999 Hudson High School graduates. She bride went on to graduate from the University of Akron and now is a teacher with the Beechwood City Schools. The bridegroom attended Stark State University and now works for the Hudson Parks and Recreation Department.
