Campbell is new 2nd lieutenant J. Campbell has graduated from Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga., and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Students learned to utilize acquired skills to function in "leader and follower" positions in squad and platoon sized elements, and evaluated in various leadership garrison positions while in a stressful and demanding field environment. Campbell, an infantry officer, is assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 11th Infantry Regiment, Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He has served in the military for five years. He is the son of Walter E. and Alice M. Campbell of Streetsboro. The lieutenant graduated in 1998 from Streetsboro High School, and received a master's degree in 2008 from Wright State University in Dayton. Morgan joins U.S. Army Jeffery T. Morgan has joined the U.S. Army under the Delayed Entry Program. After completion of basic military training, soldiers receive advanced individual training in their career job specialty prior to being assigned to their first permanent duty station. The recruit qualifies for a $10,000 enlistment bonus. Morgan, a 2007 graduate of Crestwood High School, has reported to Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C., for basic training. He is the son of Max and Vicki Morgan of Streetsboro. Comments
