Hudson Jr. Invitational
set for June
The Hudson Jr. Invitational is scheduled to take place June 15 to 17 at the Country Club of Hudson.
Here is the schedule of events:
June 15: the junior amateur is set for 9 a.m. and the practice rounds are scheduled for 2 p.m.
June 16: shotgun start (36 holes), 8 a.m.; and banquet, 7:30 p.m.
June 17: tee time, 7 a.m.; and awards, 5:30 p.m.

Join a softball league
The Tri-City Crushers girls fast-pitch softball league has openings for its upcoming season. The league, for girls ages 8-14, is scheduled to play at Craftsmen Park in Portage Lakes. There are no residency requirements. Openings are limited.

Financial aid is available. The season is scheduled to take place from April through June.
Golf offered
The University of Akron is scheduled to have a summer jamboree golf outing June 15 at Raintree Country Club in Uniontown.
The cost is $160 per golfer or $640 for a foursome. The fee includes golf, range, cart, lunch, on-course beverages, shirt, tee prize package and dinner.
