Charles Edward VanHorn, 49, of Streetsboro, died April 12, 2009 at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include Becky Brittsan, whom he shared 24 years of life with; son Charles Edward Reynolds; brother Harold VanHorn of Ohio; sisters Dorotha (Robylee) Belcher of Port Richey, Fla., Thelma VanHorn of Kent, Norma (Jay) LeMaster of Kent, Sherri (Lee) Smith of Akron; parents-in-law Jim and Donna Bendula and James L. Brittsan of Florida; James Brittsan of Ashley; Terri Atkinson of Stow, Vicki (Mark) Atkinson of Ravenna, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. VanHorn was preceded in death by parents William and Kathryn VanHorn; brothers Merle VanHorn and Billy VanHorn; sisters Mildred Wildman and Carol VanHorn; and Aunt Ruth Kyser.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service took place April 18 at the Full Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. Bob Patterson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Becky Brittsan, C/O Adams Mason Funeral Home, 791 East Market Street, Akron 44305.
