A group of nature lovers got an unusual peek at Gott Fen, which is usually closed to the public, June 13.
The tour featured the lady slipper, a wetland wildflower which was in bloom at the time of the tour. The fen includes unique habitats of various plants and animals.
Guiding the tour was Adam Wohlever of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, which owns the fen.
