U.S. Navy veteran

Frank L. Toth, 77, of Mantua, died June 2, 2009 at University Hospital's Geauga Medical Center in Chardon.

Born April 19, 1932 at the Toth family farm in Mantua to the late Frank D. and Elizabeth (Halasz) Toth, Mr. Toth was employed as a draftsman at Babcock & Wilcox in Barberton until his retirement. He also worked the family farm all of his life, assisting his parents and continued to farm in retirement.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Mr. Toth is survived by his sisters Elizabeth Brown of Solon, Margaret Lawton of California, Verna Phillips of Bedford, Florence Crouch of North Olmsted, Helen Brna of Streetsboro and Dorothy Rowles of Mantua. He also was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister Frances Panik.

Mass of Christian Burial took place June 6 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael Garvey officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery in Mantua.
