Mayoral candidates include Glenn Broska, Pete Buczkowski, Carothers, Jana Dengg, Regis Faivre, Leon Jankowski, Raul Leoni, John Ruediger and Art Scott. Streetsboro Council member Faivre leads the mayoral contenders in total campaign expenditures, having spent about $1,255 on signs, postage, fliers, stamps, and ink for printing flyers, according to the Portage County Board of Elections. Acting Mayor Art Scott reported $0 in available funds and expenditures and documented $4,214 in value in-kind contributions, all of which he has paid out-of-pocket. He spent money on signs, postage, advertisements, and a booth at an event, according to the board of elections.
