Maudie Elizabeth Clark, 81 of Ravenna, died Oct. 25, 2009 at her home.
Born Aug. 22, 1928 in Drill, Va. to the late Clovis and Victoria (Armes) Cook, Mrs. Clark has lived in Ravenna since 1980.
Survivors include daughter, Phyllis Jean McIntyre of Ravenna; grandchildren Vicky Lynn Joan and James O'Neal McIntyre, great-grandchildren, Samantha Joan and twins Brandon and Brandy Joan; sisters, Ruth Lewis of Streetsboro, Arbutus Compton of Roanoke, Va., Doris Music of Honacker, Va., great aunt, Evalou Owens of Mavis Dale, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Harold W. Clark who died earlier this year; son Ronald Walter Clark, sister Margaret Lester; brothers, George and James Cook, great-granddaughter Beth Yeager; and four nephews.
Funeral services took place Oct. 28 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Jackson officiating. Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua.
The family requests memorials donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
