Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary member

Sandra Sue Sisler Groves, 64, of Masontown died Nov. 19, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

Born in Morgantown, W.Va. on Jan. 18, 1945 to the late George E. and Delphia J. White Dengg Sisler, Mrs. Groves was a member of Masontown Church of the Nazarene and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Masontown VFW Post No. 1589.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years Larry Groves of Masontown; two sisters Ruby Dengg Davis and Alma Sisler Taylor, both of Masontown; two brothers Edwin and wife Mildred Dengg of Streetsboro, and Jack and Norma Ringer of Bruceton Mills, W.Va. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Groves was preceded in death by sister Ila Gail Taylor.

Funeral services were Nov. 23 at the Masontown Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Darrell Livengood officiating. Interment followed at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown.
