Betty Irene Miller, 77, of Garrettsville, died Nov. 16, 2009 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. Born Feb. 2, 1932 in Ira, W.Va., Mrs. Miller was employed by Nymold and was a cook at Windham Elementary School.
She was also a homemaker and loved cooking and sharing her home with family and friends. She was a member of the Streetsboro Church of Christ.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Leroy Miller; son Steve (Deanna) Miller of South Carolina; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Melissa (Nicholas) Hannah; son Terry Gene Miller; and brother Jennings Hannah.
Funeral service took place Nov. 19 at the Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Garrettsville. Officiating were the Reverends Ralph Price, Vernon Kerns, and Chuck Grubbs. Interment followed at the Harrington Cemetery in Nelson.
