St. Joan of Arc member Caroline Kish, 82, of Kent, died Dec. 23, 2009 at her residence. Born April 4, 1927 in Girard to the late Anthony and Maryann (Catone) Richards, Mrs. Kish retired from the Kent City Schools as a cook after 18 years and enjoyed helping at her daughters beauty shop. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc in Streetsboro. Mrs. Kish is survived by her husband, Charles F. Kish, whom she married on Sept. 6, 1947; son Charles N. (Randi) Kish of Saratoga, NY; daughter Karen (David) Shaw of Kent; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother John A. Richards of Girard; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Julia Guidubaldi, Rose Evers, Carmel Sallustio and Pauline Richards. Funeral services took place Dec. 29 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro. Interment followed at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Attn: Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105. Comments
