Longtime resident

Willis L. Thomas, 75, of Streetsboro, died Dec. 12, 2009 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.

Born Oct. 28, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pa. to the late Frank and Alice (Nixon) Thomas, Mr. Thomas has lived in Streetsboro for more than 30 years and retired as a supervisor for Copperweld Steel in Warren. His enjoyment in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Thomas is Survived by his son Travis (Sandy) Thomas of Streetsboro; five grandchildren; brother Ronald Thomas of Mantua; and sister Stella Borinas of Poland.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Thomas; daughter Connie Thomas; brother Raymond Thomas; and sister Virginia Boose.

Funeral services took place Dec. 17 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home's Streetsboro Chapel with the Rev. Bill Snyder officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
