St. Joan of Arc member
Dorothy J. McMillan, 75, of Streetsboro, died Dec. 28, 2009 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.
Born Nov. 18, 1934 in Norfolk, Conn. to the late Wilfred and Edna (Oaks) Charron, Mrs. McMillan has lived in Streetsboro since 1972 and retired from Alltel in Hudson after 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro and enjoyed playing a round of golf.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years Archie McMillan; sons Brian McMillan of Cranberry Township, Pa., David (Karen) McMillan of Streetsboro, Robert McMillan of Rootstown, James (Rebecca) McMillan of Sanford, Fla.; daughter Sandra (Tom) McGregor of Stow; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Right.
Private family services took place at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Joan of Arc Church 8819 Route 14 Streetsboro 44241.
