World War II veteran

Odos Bernard Wolford, 83, of Streetsboro, died Dec. 31, 2009.

Born Oct. 20, 1926 in Leumbuport, W.Va. to Odos B. and Bessie Wolford, Mr. Wolford a truck driver for 50 years and a World War II veteran, proudly serving his country in the European theater in anti-aircraft. He was an avid camper and an exceptional family man.

Odos is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marcellene; sons David Wolford, Martin (Teresa) Wolford, and James Wolford; step-daughters Kimberly (Robert) Anderson, Jennifer Nielson, and Christine (David) Benci; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Ruby.

The family will receive visitors Jan. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 East Main Street in Ravenna.

A funeral services are set for Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. David Ballert officiating.

Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
