Seeking conservation award nominees
Know a person who has made significant contributions to the environmental conservation in Portage County?
Recognize that person by nominating him for an award to be presented at the 12th Annual Environmental Conservation Awards Dinner 6 p.m. April 10 at the Kent American Legion Hall, 1945 Mogadore Road in Kent.
Nominees for this year's awards will be considered based on their efforts advocating sustainable use of resources, extraordinary efforts in green business or green living, activism in environmental education, community environmental efforts or environmental stewardship.
Nominations should include the nominee's name and contact information, along with a paragraph or two describing the nominee's contribution to environmental conservation in Portage County.

Call the Park District office at 330-297-7728 for information or to make a reservation for the annual awards banquet.
