The Chapel at Tinkers Creek
* On May 11, the chapel's community trails will officially reopen on the church property at 9825 Page Road in Streetsboro. The morning before members will be out on the site clearing off and maintaining the 1.5-mile walking loop. The public is invited to work or walk with members.

* The Altar and Rosary Society is hosting a rummage sale May 21 and 22. The sale will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 21 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 22.

* Alcoholics Anonymous meets each Mondays at 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. and Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Sunday school meets at 9:30 a.m. for children and teens. Meeting at this time also are five adult Bible fellowship groups.

Streetsboro United Methodist Church
* On April 22, Streetsboro United Methodist Church hosted its first monthly community dinner.
The dinners will take place each fourth Tuesday of the month; and they are free and open to the public. The next free community dinner will take place May 27 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The dinners are served in the church's handicap-accessible fellowship hall. The church and hall are located at 8940 Route 43. The handicap entrance is behind the church on the lower level.
This is a community outreach program sponsored by the church's missions committee.
* Those interested in providing comfort to someone in the final stages of life may consider providing respite relief for caretakers of those in hospice care. Visits could include running errands, light housekeeping, snack preparation, and offering companionship.

Hope Community Church in Hudson
Hope Student Ministries is hosting a film festival at its Hope Café May 2 from 8 to 11 p.m. There will be humorous homemade movies shown and snacks and refreshments served. This event is open to middle and high school students.

Lakeview Chapel
The message April 27 is titled "I Don't Know How to Pray ... How Did Jesus Pray?" The service starts at 10:45 a.m.
Recently, youths participated in an overnight stay at the church which included not eating for 30 hours. Participants raised money for children throughout the world in the 30-Hour Famine.
Adults and children's program are offered Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. The nursery is open.
Lakeview hosts a Bible study for men on Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. at Starbucks.
Hope Community Chapel
Hope Community Church, 3033 Middleton Road, is involved in "Celebrate Recovery," a Christ-centered group program to help people hurting. The program is designed to help free participants from addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This program will meet each Friday at 7 p.m.

Parkside Church in Chagrin Falls
"TrueLife Singles" invites all singles 35 and over to a fellowship dinner at Parkside Church May 2 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30). Guest speaker is the Rev. Jeff Mills. This will be an opportunity for Christian fellowship and to meet new singles.

Rejoice Lutheran Church
On May 4 at noon, Rejoice Lutheran Church will host a groundbreaking ceremony in anticipation of building its new church in Hudson.
The ceremony, which is open to the public, will take place at 7855 Stow Road, just north of Middleton Road in Hudson.
The congregation is currently worshipping at Ellsworth Hill Elementary School at the corner of Middleton and Stow Roads.
