Camp scheduled
The Streetsboro boys varsity basketball team is scheduled to host a youth basketball camp June 16 through 19 at Streetsboro High School for all boys in grades 4 through 8.
The camp is set to take place from 9 a.m. until noon. The cost is $30.

The Stark-Summit Baseball League is accepting teams for its summer high school league season.
Age-group leagues are 15 and younger, 16 and younger and 18 and younger.

McDonald places eighth
Streetsboro resident Virgil McDonald, 25, placed sixth in the male 25-through-29 age group with a time of 24 minutes, 52.5 seconds at the 2008 Jeep Davis 5K race May 3 in Barberton.
