The visiting Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy ice hockey team won its third straight match after posting a commanding 12-3 victory over Brooklyn Jan. 28. Streetsboro resident John Fisher had two assists for CVCA (12-6-1).

The 18th annual Ohio Youth Basketball State Championships for boys and girls teams in grades three through six is scheduled to take place Feb. 27 and 28 in Columbus.
