David Jess Toothman, 31, of Streetsboro, died Feb. 21, 2013, at his home.

Born in Cleveland Sept. 16, 1981 to Robert J. and Thereasa (Karasek) Toothman, Mr. Toothman was a Streetsboro resident since 1999 and was employed in the manufacturing industry.

He was a member of Hope Community Church in Hudson and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan who also enjoyed shooting pool. Mr. Toothman loved his wife, children and kids of all ages and will be remembered as a hard worker by all who knew him, as well as a man who could never say no to family and friends who asked for his help.

On Dec. 23, 2004, he married Christina (Sampson) Toothman who survives at their home with his children Sean Sampson, Tabatha Toothman and Anastasia Sampson. Also surviving are his parents Robert Toothman of West Virginia and Thereasa Karasek of Streetsboro, and grandparents Margie Mickle and James and Kathy Karasek, all of Streetsboro and Robert and Patty Toothman of West Virginia. He was preceded in death in 2011 by his brother Robert James Toothman.

A funeral service took place Feb. 25 at Hope Community Church in Hudson. A private family burial ceremony followed.
