Marjorie A. Hart, 90, of Streetsboro, died Aug. 8, 2013.
Born Feb. 18, 1923 in North Canton to the late Harold and Grace Miller, Mrs. Hart graduated from Shalersville High School and studied math and science at The Ohio State University then entered the U.S. Navy, becoming an officer in radio communication and was a member of the waves. Upon honorable discharge from the Navy, she completed her degree at Kent State University in liberal arts. Mrs. Hart worked as a chemist at Hershaw Chemical in Cleveland. She devoted her life to education in Streetsboro, tutoring many adults and children and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Streetsboro.
She is survived by her sons Brian (Debra) Hart and Eric (Carol) Hart both of Streetsboro; loving grandchildren Jonathan, Jason, Evan, Angela and Kayla Hart; great-grandchildren Dustin, Madison and Ethan Hart; sister Lois Miller of Rootstown; and brother Larry Miller of Akron. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, Milton Hart; and brothers Norman, Clifford and Dean Miller.
Private services for close friends and family took place at Faith Baptist Church on Aug. 13 with The Rev. Pastor Don Workman officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro. Memorials should be made in Mrs. Hart's memory to Faith Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
