Albert H. Fronek

Albert  H. Fronek Jr., 81, of Streetsboro, died March 20, 2014 at Robinson Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 31, 1932 in Streetsboro to the late Albert A. and Hattie (Piper) Fronek, Mr. Fronek lived in Streetsboro his entire life. He worked construction and was a volunteer firefighter for the city of Streetsboro. 

Mr. Fronek is survived by his daughters LaVern (Chris) Bennett of Streetsboro and Dorothy (James) Tackett of Kent; son Harold Fronek of Streetsboro; sisters Caroline (Harry Dean) Haney and Bobbie (Alvin) Sweet; brothers Fred (Donna) and Jim (Ellen) Fronek; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Fronek, who died in 2005, and his daughter, Norma Jean Fronek, who died Jan. 7.

Family and friends are welcome to join the family for a memorial service which will take place at 2 p.m. March 30 at the Streetsboro American Legion with The Rev. William Snyder officiating. A  graveside service will take place at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.  

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Streetsboro Fire Department.
