Paul J. Quinn Jr., 83, of Streetsboro, died March 24, 2014 at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 1, 1930 in Latrobe, Pa. to the late Paul Quinn Sr. and Marcella (Cinibulk) Hart, Mr. Quinn served in the U.S. Army, and was a superintendent for Ford Motor Co. for 33 years.
He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking and helped build the Knights of Columbus Hall in Streetsboro. He also was known for running Quinn's Santa Shop for many years that helped under privileged families.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Pat (Holler) Quinn whom he married in 1951; his daughters Paula (Dale) Brown of Streetsboro, Sandra Dee Knotek of Kent, Melanie (John) Luft of North Royalton and Debra Lee Quinn of Seattle Wash.; sons Paul James Quinn III of Westlake and Robert (Diana) Quinn of Kent; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Deloris Quinn of Dayton.
Mr. Quinn is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bob and Bill Quinn.
Calling hours will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. March 28 and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. March 29 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
A Mass will take place at St. Joan of Arc Church at 11 a.m. March 29, 2014 with the Rev. Fr. Pat Ferraro be officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
