Edmund E. Gregorek, 86, of Streetsboro, formerly of Garfield Heights, died April 2, 2014.

Born July 22, 1927 in Cleveland to the late Edward and Frances (Daniecki) Gregorek, Mr. Gregorek was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a die caster for Empire Die Casting in Cleveland and attended the Streetsboro Senior Center.

Mr. Gregorek is survived by his daughter Patricia (Mark) Ramsey of Shalersville, sons John Gregorek of Mantua and Ted (Megan) Gregorek of Bainbridge, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and sister Rosalie (Vance) Burbridge of Burton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Fanny Gregorek. Cremation has taken place.

Calling hours took place April 4 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home's Streetsboro Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Portage County Animal Protective League, PO Box 927, Ravenna 44266.
